Senior Web Developer (WordPress)
Development Team
We are looking for a full-time, remote Senior Web Developer with 7+ years of web development experience in WordPress. You will join our clients innovative, growing team to build new features and functions for as well as maintain the clients corporate website.

Responsibilities
- Work with client to define and build a compelling a web experience
- Create website layout and user interfaces by using WordPress, HTML5, and CSS3
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code utilizing development best practices
- Design user interfaces and navigation menus
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Implement, monitor, and report on performance analytics
- Evaluate code to ensure it meets industry standards and compliance requirements, and it is cross-platform compatible
- Identify problems uncovered via feedback and testing, provide resolutions, and implement updates
Required Experience
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
- 7+ years of web development experience using WordPress, HTML5, and CSS3
- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript and SQL
- Experience with website architecture
- Demonstrable track record of providing on-time delivery of key website features and updates
- Experience building and implementing new themes and plugins as well as analyzing performance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of GDPR, privacy, accessibility, and other compliance requirements
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment that values speed, flexibility, and resourcefulness without sacrificing quality
Desired Experience
- University degree in sciences or relevant industry experience
- Experience with graphic design
