Front-End Developer (React)
Development Team
We are looking for a full-time Front-End Developer with comprehensive knowledge of React and JavaScript to join a US-based client team of data scientists and developers. The client leverages AI to solve today’s hardest business challenges with a focus on making the world a better place through consulting services and applications that improve care, enhance discoveries, and enable data-driven decisions.
The client team comprises creative and results-focused individuals who excel at solving real-world problems. Their diverse backgrounds bring technology and expertise from various disciplines including neuroscience, physics, engineering, computational biology, genomics, mathematics, and computer science.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop applications and enhancements following specifications using appropriate tools
- Develop standards and ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs including cross-browser optimization
- Interface with data scientists and management to build products that meet market demands
- Maintain and modify existing applications and versions
- Participate in code reviews and maintain standards throughout the SDLC process
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
- Write product and support documentation
- Develop and execute software test plans
- Identify and correct reported product issues
Required Experience
- Excellent English communication skills
- 3+ years of React and JavaScript experience
- Experience working within project and product management methodologies including Agile
- Unit and integration testing experience to assure comprehensive code coverage
- Strong collaborative personality with experience working in dynamic startup environment
- Experience and ability to work remotely
- Trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent
Desired Experience
- University degree or equivalent education (technical or engineering degree is optimal)
Additional Information
- This is a permanent position
- Typical week is 40-45 hours, Monday – Friday
- Country of residence National Holiday schedule
- 15 days Paid Time Off
