Front-End Developer

NextGen Development Team

 

We are seeking a Front-End Developer design and build a new software product, replacing an existing one. This person will collaborate with key stakeholders to develop a new user interface for the company’s flagship product utilizing modern user experience best practices.


As a Front-End Developer at Velozient, you will report to the Managing Director fulfilling the following requirements:


Responsibilities

  • Create modern user interface and dashboards replacing outdated experience for company’s industrial asset management and maintenance product
  • Develop new functionality and pages while working with UI development leadership
  • Implement new features desired by the implementation team, customers, and product management
  • Follow common web standards and development methodologies to achieve efficiency and performance goals
  • Work closely with our backend developers to ensure the integrity of the user interface
  • Collaborate with peers, implementation team, and customers to achieve maximum client satisfaction


Required Experience

  • 4+ years of web development experience
  • Experience developing user interfaces using ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, and C# and working with external REST APIs
  • Experience with client-side Blazor or web development in Angular or similar languages
  • Familiarity with IIS and SQL Server
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Knowledgeable of the most current UX/UI development best practices and responsive design
  • Experience with a cross-browser testing and implementation
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and willingness to collaborate and debate possible solutions or methods to drive customer satisfaction and thus team success
  • Strong written and verbal English skills
  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

 

Desired Experience

  • Familiarity with Jira
  • Experience with DevExpress or other third-party graphic control libraries
  • Familiarity with process industries (e.g., refining, chemical, power generation, pulp/paper, and mining)

 

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent position
  • Typical week is 40-45 hours, Monday – Friday
  • Country of residence National Holiday schedule
  • 15 days Paid Time Off
  • Start: ASAP
